DIY BATH BOMBS. BEST RECIPE

Here is what you need
Wax paper (for easy cleanup)
Molds (I used candy molds I got at michaels, but even an ice tray will work)
Baking soda
Bell's citric acid (very important that you get citric acid, otherwise it won't fizz nicely. You can find this in the canning section at grocery stores. I found it at BiLo)
Corn starch
Oats ground up (I used the blender)
Sea salt (found at michael's near soap making section)
Sunflower oil (or any oil high in vitamin E. I found this at Walmart)
Water
Essential oil (Michael's in the soap making section)
Food coloring
Witch hazel with a spray bottle lid. (Witch hazel was found in first aid at Walmart. I bought a $0.97 spray bottle there too)

1 Cup Baking Soda
1/4 Cup Citric Acid (other recipes call for 1/2 Cup, but that makes it fizz and grow and takes forever to dry. Trust me on this)
1/2 Cup Corn Starch
1/4 Cup Ground up Oats
1-1 1/2 Tbs Sea Salt
3 Tbs Sunflower Oil
1 Tbs Water
1/2-1 tsp Essential Oil (when I used lavender and rose for the red and blue batches I used 1/2 tsp.  however the vanilla scent isn't as strong, so I used 1 tsp)
About 4 drops food coloring (depending on how dark you want it. I made this batch white because its vanilla)
3-5 sprays witch hazel
In a small bowl combine the sunflower oil, water, essential oil, and food coloring.

In a bigger bowl combine baking soda, citric acid, corn starch, oats, and sea salt. Mix it evenly
Then pour the bowl of liquid into your bowl of dry goods. It should fizz (if you substituted anything for the citric acid it won't. I've tried). Mix the liquid and powders together with your hands.
Once mixed around, spray with the witch hazel 3-5 times. You want it to hold together when you squeeze it. Not as wet as wet sand though.
After all ingredients are mixed together pack VERY tightly into molds. Let sit for an hour.
After the hour is up just tap the center of the back side of the mold. The bath bombs will pop out very easily.
I had a little extra after my first batch. So I used the rest. The bath bombs come out hard as a rock! I actually found this better recipe on accident. Let me know if you have questions.
